European Stocks Ended HigherEuropean stocks ended higher on Friday with telecoms stocks leading gains.Britain's FTSE 100 index ended up 0.89 percent up 46 points to 5,202 ,Germany's DAX ended up 0.65 pct up 39 points at 5,951,France's CAC 40 ended up 0.93 percent at 3,507.
On Friday, Gold hit a high of $1,242.25 an ounce after positive data,but gave up some early gains to close at $1237.50.Crude oil prices rose a third straight day.Crude Oil for October delivery gained 2.5% up $1.81 to $75.17 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
